Overview:

An Active Energy Audit expert will contact you to prepare for the audit prior to the scheduled day.  There are a few items you need to prepare:

• Clean all ashes from fire places
• Turn of all combustion appliances if possible (AE can help)
• Prepare utility bills from the past year
• Find and record building square footage

On your scheduled audit day, we will arrive on time and conduct an exterior building overview and interior walk-through.  During the overview and walk-through the auditor will record important data to be used when creating your Detailed Audit Report.  Depending on your audit level, different items may be investigated further to identify additional energy efficiency data. 

Once the walk-through has been completed, the auditor will conduct a Blower Door Assembly Test to identify exterior leakage and potential pressure issues.  If a Duct Blaster Test has been requested, the auditor will then conduct these tests. 

After the site visit has been conducted, the Detailed Audit Report will be delivered up to 10 businesses after payment has been received.  The Detailed Audit Report contains personalized energy efficient data and potential solutions with payback schedules.
