Save Big Before Holy Cross Solar Rebates End in September!
If you are a homeowner, now is the time to consider installing solar panels on your home. The federal tax credits, solar rebates currently offered by Holy Cross, and other incentives available at local levels through August 2020 makes solar energy a great investment in your home and our environment.
As a reputed solar company in Eagle-Vail, Colorado, we want to inform our clients that Holy Cross solar rebates will likely come to an end by September 2020.
If you considering investing in solar energy, now is the best time to purchase a solar panel system and save big. For one, you are eligible for the 26% federal solar investment tax credit (ITC), provided you have some federal income tax liability against which this credit can be applied. Keep in mind that the federal solar tax credit is reported to drop to 22% at the end of 2021 and then disappear entirely by 2022.
Holy Cross Electric Association, Inc. also recently announced that their substantial rebates would drop by 30-33% from 1 September 2020 (provided your project is under contract by 15 August 2020). After 1 September 2020, you will have to bear out-of-pocket costs, which will be several thousand more. To view the complete list of rebates they have to offer, please click here.
Energy Smart is currently offering an additional $500 to Eagle County residents and $1000.00 to Vail residents. A CORE rebate of $2500.00 is available to qualifying homes in the Roaring Fork Valley. Unfortunately, these rebates are not guaranteed for next year.
If you are interested in lowering your electric cost and be a positive part of keeping our beautiful valley GREEN, take advantage of these rebates while they are still available.
We predict this to be the lowest price in the foreseeable future, so hurry up and book our services before solar rebates come to an end.
